I bought this 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ to use as a flat-tow vehicle in tandem with my RV. I have done extensive maintenance and many upgrades in preparation for that purpose. I am selling the RV thus no longer have a need for the Jeep.
The engine is the bullet proof 4.0 six-cylinder engine along with the popular automatic transmission.
The brake system has new drums, hydraulic cylinders, brake pads, and hardware on the rear brakes and new rotors, calipers, brake pads, bearings, and seals on the front brakes. In addition, new factory bent and fitted stainless-steel brake lines were installed and the master cylinder replaced.
The rear end differential 3.07 ring and pinion are new, and the gear mesh and clearances set by Outlaw OffRoad Atlanta. The entire rear suspension system including the springs, shock absorbers, upper and lower control arms, and the sway and torsion bars were all replaced. Additionally, Pro Muffler & Welding replaced the muffler and tail pipes starting at the catalytic converter.
Both front fenders are new as well as the rear tailgate. The fender flares on both the front and rear fender wells are also new. Side armor and lower entry steps are heavy gage steel and are powder coated with a black matte texture. Th rear bumper is a heavy gage steel by Redrock, and the front bumper is also heavy gage made by Hooke. Both are black powder coated matte.
In the interior, the seats have new neoprene seat covers on both the front and back seats. There is also new carpet thru-out. There are many other upgrades too numerous to keep listing. Please feel free to message me if you would like more information.
